ASKION C-line® control
The ASKION C-line control system provides users with a sample management system for recognizing, storing, re-storing and removing samples with a barcode support sample recognisation in the cryogenic work area.
- All sample data (e.g. storage place in the hermetic storage) can centrally be stored and administrated in an internal LIS / HIS. So, a double data handling is avoided and no additional data saving measures are to be done on the single devices.

There is an open interface (High Level Interface, HLI) available which serves as an interface to this data base management system (LIS / HIS). The communication to the C-line devices is done via this interface.
- In case there is no LIS/HIS at the customer’s disposal, ASKION will also support the customer to choose and connect the right one.
- The data are sent to the C-line devices in the form of order lists (storage or retrieval orders, respectively, at the HS/freeze orders at the WB). The confirmation of the status of processing of these data and other relevant data of the device (temperature, time stamp, etc.) can be called via the interface.
