In April 2010 Askion signed a contract about a future collaboration with the University of Dundee and the Russian company LZMA. The collaboration is part of the 7. Frame program of the European community for Industrial-Academia Partnerships and Pathways (FP7-People-2009-IAPP). Goal of the program is by exchanging of staff of the involved institutions the better cooperation between industry and academic world. Additional aspects are multi-culture approaches and practical language training.
Technical subject of the collaboration is the development and commercialization of new non- invasive Laser diagnostic devices (MEDI-LASE). Askion mainly will be responsible for the commercialization of these devices.In connection with this project Askion is seeking staff at the field of electrical/electronic engineering, fine-mechanical/optical engineering as well as Physics with Bachelor or Master degree. Based of the rules of the program (FP7-People-2009-IAPP) foreign candidates are appreciated.
